For Women, More Sleep = Better Sex

For older women, OK, women over 50, more sleep appears to translate to a better sex life. HealthDay reports on a study at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Ariz., where researchers tracked data from nearly 94,000 women aged 50 to 79, more than half of whom said they were somewhat or very satisfied with their sex life. The researchers found that women who slept less than seven or eight hours a night were less likely to be satisfied with their sex life, and among women older than 70, those who slept fewer than five hours a night were 30 percent less likely to be sexually active than women sleeping seven to eight hours.
