I Don't Like the Taste of Matcha, but These Matcha Fruit Bites Have Me Hooked

Matcha is referred to as the "healthy espresso of green tea." It gives you caffeine without the crash and offers antioxidants in every batch. But what if you could enjoy this earthy, powder-based drink in a fun way? I'd sure be game for that. Jade Leaf Matcha launched Matcha Fruit Bites in late April, and we just got our hands on the three flavors: Peach Mango, Apple Ginger, and Lemon. Each pouch, infused with organic Japanese matcha, has 25 mg of caffeine - equivalent to one cup of green tea - and one serving of fruit.

The bites have the consistency of fruit leather, but chewier, and the flavors stand out - they seriously pop in your mouth and disguise almost all of the bitterness that matcha often has (which we'll get to later). These pouches are available on Amazon and the Jade Leaf Matcha website, and matcha-lovers won't be disappointed. Even non-matcha-lovers should give these a try! Case in point: I'm not a matcha connoisseur in the slightest, but these might just be my new obsession. Plus, they're a creative way to get your mid-afternoon caffeine fix.
