When it comes to fitness and weight loss, carbohydrates are a complicated subject. On one hand, they’re necessary to build and maintain muscle mass. On the other hand, reducing your carbohydrate intake can be part of a successful weight loss program. If you are trying to reduce your carb intake as part of a balanced nutrition program, don’t cut them out completely.
