Eczema engulfed the entire body of young Aoibheann Hennessy for nearly two years. The two-year-old suffered with the medical condition that causes the skin to become itchy, red, and painful. Aoibheann’s mother finally found a natural cure that cleared up the child’s skin within a few weeks.
For a couple of years, Aoibheann’s mother, Lynn Hennessy, unsuccessfully tried curing her two-year-old daughter from the painful skin condition that left the poor child with dry, itchy, cracked, and red blotches all over her body.

In December 2013, Aoibheann fractured her ankle and required a cast. A short time later, the young child developed a small patch of dry skin on the back of her leg. The young girl’s mother didn’t think much of the small rash, at first. However, three weeks later, after removing the cast from Aoibheann’s ankle, a rash gave off a “rotten smell” and eczema patches started developing all over the young child’s body.

According to Daily Mail, Lynn explained how she tried everything she could think of to help her daughter.
“Every night I’d have to wash her in a special soap I’d made myself, then cover her completely in steroid cream and bandages covered in this brown paste.”
Lynn followed the doctor’s orders and treated Aoibheann’s eczema by applying coconut oil and steroid cream to the child’s skin nine times a day. At the end of the day, each night before the youngster went to bed, the 29-year-old mother and child went through a 90-minute routine of wrapping bandages around her daughter “like a mummy.”

Lynn also treated her daughter’s eczema by washing her daughter’s cloths in vinegar, as well as other natural methods, including adding sterilizing fluid to Aoibheann’s bath water.
Concerned and desperate for a solution, Lynn shared her next course of action.
“I tried everything – changing the detergent I was using, monitoring her diet in case it was a food allergy. The doctors kept prescribing us all these paraffin and steroid creams, but I eventually had to put my foot down and demand we see a dermatologist.”

Mrs. Hennessy added how the eczema had an effect on her daughter and young son.
“I couldn’t play with her properly, she couldn’t go outside in shorts — the eczema was affecting everything. I have son and it was even taking away from my time with him.”
Nothing seemed to work in curing young Aoibheann of the painful rash. It was when Lynn went to the internet in hopes of finding a solution that she found success.
One night, while on Facebook, Lynn noticed an ad for an eczema cream containing the natural active ingredients and anti-inflammatories, colloidal oatmeal, and cod liver oil.
Lynn said, “I was very skeptical at first. The before and after photos being posted looked amazing, but for all I knew they could have been photo shopped. But Aoibheann had been suffering for so long and her eczema had been so hard on all of us that I knew I had to try.”
According to Lynn, she purchased the alternative medicine, applied it to Aoibheann’s skin, and within three weeks the child’s eczema started to clear up. Lynn said her daughter doesn’t suffer with the irritating and painful skin condition, other than a few dry patches now and then.

The elated mother shared her excitement and success.
“Sometimes she gets a tiny bit on her legs but it’s nowhere near as serious as it was. We no longer have to spend hours rubbing in cream and wrapping her like a mummy. I now have a happy little lady with clear skin.”
Credit goes to a caring and diligent mother, and her quest to help make her daughter well. Aoibheann and her mother don’t have to go through the daily, 90-minute treatment and routine of applying creams and bandages to the child’s body.
More importantly, thanks to the medical properties of oatmeal and cod liver oil, it appears Aoibheann no longer has to suffer with the miserable, irritating, and painful eczema skin condition.
