Crafted by a CrossFit Coach, This 18-Minute Cardio Workout Works Your Entire Body

When you're traveling and away from your gym, it can feel like a workout just isn't possible without your usual equipment or favorite instructor or trainer leading you through the moves. Jade Jenny, CrossFit coach and owner of Champlain Valley CrossFit, says, for those of you who say they can't exercise while on vacation because they don't have a gym or they don't know what to do, this is the perfect workout. It's just two moves, which seems simple, but it's intense!

The Workout

Directions: Complete four rounds of this two-exercise workout AQAP (as quick as possible). If you're not sure how far 400 meters is, run for about 2:00 to 2:30 minutes. If you can't get outside, run in place, or do the butt-kicker run shown ahead.

400-meter run (or run in place or do butt-kicker run)
20 burpees

Move efficiently, but don't stop. Jade always says that even slow burpees are faster than just lying on the ground breathing heavy! Aim to do this workout in under 18 minutes.
