You've Got to Do These 4 Bodyweight Exercises, According to Trainer Harley Pasternak

Harley Pasternak doesn't need an introduction. He's the guru of all things fitness and wellness, and he's trained some A-list celebrities who look absolutely stunning. Not surprisingly, Harley is a headliner at the Propel Co:Labs Fitness Festival this year, and we were lucky enough to catch up with him and ask him a few questions about how to train hard and smart.

When you're short on time and maybe can't get to the gym, that's no excuse not to move your body. We asked Harley what his favorite bodyweight exercises are that you can do anywhere, and he said, "By far, mine is a walk lunge. It's one of my absolute favorite exercises." You can do this exercise in your living room, on the sidewalk outside of your house, or pretty much anywhere that has a little bit of space.

"We actually took a group of fitness professionals at the Propel Co:Labs Festival (on May 6 in Los Angeles) and I had them walk-lunge around the block," he told POPSUGAR. Well, if Harley and his band of fitness pros are doing walk lunges, the rest of us should be too!

But that's not all Harley recommends if you don't have any equipment on you. "I also like doing a hip thrust, a superman, and a pike plank," he shared.

If you were to put together all four of those exercises - walk lunge, hip thrust, superman, and pike plank - you would hit pretty much every inch of your body. Your legs, core, arms, back, and glutes would be targeted, with no equipment needed! Time to get to work.
