Kaetlyn Osmond earned a bronze medal after this fluid, near-perfect skating routine to "Black Swan." The 22-year-old from Canada felt strong and in the best shape of her life. And to think she almost quit skating after breaking her leg in a training accident in 2014. Her determination and perseverance is so inspiring!
The above video is a performance from the 2018 Canadian Figure Skating Championships, but it's the same routine that won her bronze in Pyeongchang. It's the first medal Canada has won in the event since 2010. Kaetlyn nailed seven triple jumps and only wobbled a little on a triple lutz. Her grace, strength, confidence, and sheer joy of skating is exciting to watch!
This video ahead eloquently explains how Kaetlyn feels when she's performing.
"The minute they call my name, that's when the nerves start to vanish."
